EPIC Cogito BI Developer / Analyst Job Summary We are seeking an experienced EPIC Cogito BI Developer/Analyst to design, develop, and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytics solutions that support operational and clinical decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate will leverage EPIC Cogito tools and Electronic Health Record (EHR) data to deliver actionable insights for healthcare stakeholders. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and business intelligence reports using EPIC Cogito tools. • Analyze and transform EHR data into meaningful insights to support clinical and operational initiatives. • Collaborate with clinicians, business users, and leadership to gather reporting requirements and define KPIs. • Create data visualizations that effectively communicate trends, performance metrics, and outcomes. • Develop and optimize SQL queries, data models, and reporting solutions. • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with healthcare regulations and standards. • Support ad hoc reporting requests and data analysis initiatives. • Troubleshoot and enhance existing reports and dashboards for improved performance and usability. • Participate in system upgrades, testing, and implementation of new EPIC modules and reporting capabilities. Required Skills & Qualifications • EPIC Cogito Certification (required). • Strong experience with EPIC Cogito reporting tools, including: • Radar Dashboards • SlicerDicer • Reporting Workbench • Clarity • Caboodle • Proficiency in SQL and relational database concepts. • Experience working with Electronic Health Record (EHR) data. • Strong data visualization and dashboard development skills. • Knowledge of healthcare operations, clinical workflows, and performance metrics. • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications • Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms. • Knowledge of healthcare data standards and regulatory requirements. • Experience in clinical quality reporting and healthcare analytics. • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare Informatics, or related field. Experience Required • 3+ years of experience in EPIC reporting and analytics. • Experience in healthcare organizations, hospitals, or health systems preferred.
