Reports Analyst

Reports Analyst Primary Location: Austin, Texas V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a Reports Analyst for our premier client in Austin, Texas. Knowledge And Skills • Develop, modify, and maintain Reports using PeopleSoft reporting tools, such as: • Query Manager / Query Viewer • BI Publisher (XML Publisher) • PS/Query expressions and complex joins • Develop, modify, and maintain reports using CPA-provided tools such as SAP Business Objects. What You’ll Do Job Responsibilities: • Analyze PeopleSoft data structures, including table relationships, keys, and effective dating rules, to ensure correct data extraction. • Optimize report performance, including tuning queries, indexing recommendations, and improving runtime for high volume statewide datasets. • Support reporting during upgrades, patches, and project releases, including impact analysis, remediation of broken reports, and migration coordination through environments. • Ensure data security and compliance, making sure reports respect row level and role based security, sensitive data handling rules, and statewide privacy standards. • Produce documentation, such as report inventories, design specifications, data dictionaries, run instructions, and test plans.
