Role description
Rhapsody Health Developer
Position Summary:
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
β’ Analyze and provide a solution to the problems/issues in Rhapsody
β’ Code debug and enhancements
β’ Rhapsody maintenance
β’ Support Server Patches, Restart the Rhapsody application.
β’ Renew and Install HESB Server certificates
β’ Support application system maintenance
β’ Install application system certificates and resolve any connection issues
β’ Manage error queue and hold queue. Reprocess them as needed.
β’ Clear Rhapsody alerts and take a necessary action on the alerts
β’ Produce Latency, Response reports
β’ Generate Monthly Status reports
β’ Code fix for any production issues
β’ Code migration to production
β’ Rhapsody version upgrades and related testing
β’ Communicating with users and external applications for any issues
β’ Rhapsody memory management and manage the storage
Skills:
Required technical and health care IT skills:
β’ JavaScript programming

β’ HL7 version 2.x messaging
β’ HL7 FHIR
β’ CDA standards and related document types

β’ Custom message payload translation from one format (e.g., JSON, XML, HL7) to a different format (e.g., proprietary/legacy format)
β’ Experience using web services, SOAP, REST, OAUTH, TCP-connections, LLP, etc.
β’ Experience using transport encryption/security; TLS, mutual authorization via certificates, etc.
