RHEL Developer - HYBRID SCHEDULE - Contract
Our client is seeking a RHEL Developer/Administrator between $68 - $70/hour (W2) with 5+ years’ experience performing design, development, tests, and administration in RHEL, UNIX, Oracle database (DB), SQL, Java, Python scripts, Ansible and TCP/IP Network configurations. Our client is seeking a Developer/Administrator to support their international team in Hong Kong, China, involving 80% of the day performing RHEL design/development and 20% of day performing Oracle DB administration. Our partner needs a Developer/Administrator who is proficient in backend Java programming and Python. You would come into an existing project and not build out a new server-side application from scratch. You would deploy the software into RHEL with a local Manassas, VA Team of three people for the project in addition to members of our client's offshore team in Hong Kong, China. There is no need to be available 24/7, as we’re only expecting mid-day core hours available supporting Manassas, VA office. Our client requires the weekly hybrid schedule of two days on-site in their Manassas, VA office and three days remote, starting on day one of contract May 19, 2025.
