Job Summary Join our Evidence Generation team as a hands-on Real-World Data (RWD) Analyst focused on preparing, analyzing, and reporting large-scale healthcare datasets to generate robust real-world evidence. In this role, you will execute data manipulation and statistical programming, translating complex analytical plans into reliable results that support regulatory, clinical, and commercial objectives. location: Cambridge, Massachusetts job type: Contract salary: $90 - 100 per hour work hours: 9 to 5 education: Doctorate Responsibilities • Clean, standardize, and transform complex raw RWD (e.g., Humedica, Optum, MarketScan, Komodo) into analysis-ready datasets while performing rigorous quality checks. • Demonstrate expert-level proficiency in Python and/or R to write and optimize code for data manipulation, statistical analysis, and generating TFLs (tables, figures, and listings). • Execute descriptive, exploratory, and inferential statistical analyses (e.g., survival analyses, patient journeys) as outlined in Statistical Analysis Plans (SAPs). • Query, extract, and manipulate large relational healthcare data tables across claims data and EMR/EHR structures. • Generate and validate outputs for internal reports, scientific presentations, and regulatory documentation, while providing detailed code documentation to ensure reproducibility. • Troubleshoot data anomalies alongside Senior Analysts and Biostatisticians to ensure accurate and timely completion of technical tasks across multiple projects. Qualifications Required: • Minimum of a PhD in Statistics, Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Health Informatics, or a closely related quantitative field. • A minimum of 5-7 years of hands-on, post-degree experience performing data analysis and programming within a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare consulting, or academic setting. • Direct, verifiable experience utilizing and analyzing complex healthcare data sources, including claims data, EMR/EHR, and/or disease registries • Expert level proficiency in at least one major statistical programming language (Python or R) is mandatory. skills: Real World Evidence (RWE), Real World Data (RWD) Equal Opportunity Employer: Race, Color, Religion, Sex, Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, National Origin, Age, Genetic Information, Disability, Protected Veteran Status, or any other legally protected group status.
