Role Title: S/4 HANA Reporting Business Analyst Duration: 1 year+ Preferred Location: Remote (EST time zone preferred) Role Description: Our client is undergoing a large-scale transformation, migrating from an on-premise SAP ECC environment to SAP S/4 HANA while modernizing their reporting, analytics, and financial consolidation platforms. As part of this initiative, they are seeking an experienced SAP S/4 HANA Reporting Business Analyst to support the design and delivery of next-generation reporting solutions. This role will work closely with business stakeholders, finance teams, and technical developers to gather, analyze, and translate reporting requirements into scalable solutions leveraging SAP S/4 HANA capabilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong functional background in SAP reporting, combined with hands-on experience supporting tools such as SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and Business Data Cloud (BDC) or similar reporting platforms. Key Responsibilities: • Partner with business stakeholders to gather, document, and validate reporting and analytics requirements across finance and related domains • Translate business needs into functional specifications for S/4 HANA reporting solutions • Support the design, development, and optimization of reports and dashboards using SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), BDC, or other reporting tools • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure accurate data modeling, integration, and reporting performance • Assist in defining reporting standards, data governance practices, and best practices aligned with S/4 HANA capabilities • Participate in system testing, UAT support, and issue resolution related to reporting deliverables • Provide guidance and support during the migration from ECC to S/4, ensuring continuity and improvement of reporting processes Required Qualifications: • Strong experience as an SAP Reporting Business Analyst, with a focus on SAP S/4 HANA environments • Proven track record of gathering and translating business reporting requirements into functional solutions • Hands-on experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), Business Data Cloud (BDC), or similar SAP reporting tools • Solid understanding of SAP data structures, financial reporting, and integration points within S/4 HANA • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work in cross-functional teams • Experience supporting large-scale SAP transformations or migrations (ECC to S/4 preferred)
