S/4HANA Data Lead - Remote

Job Summary For S/4HANA Data Lead-Remote Experience & Qualifications • 5+ years of SAP functional experience with data focus • Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA (preferably greenfield) • Involvement in large-scale, global ERP implementations • Deep understanding of value stream business processes and SAP data objects • Experience in data migration, cleansing, and validation • (Preferred) Experience in manufacturing/asset-intensive industries • (Preferred) Prior experience as Functional Data Lead or Data Domain Lead • (Preferred) Experience with global templates and harmonized data models • (Preferred) Knowledge of data quality tools and metrics Technical & Functional Skills • Strong knowledge of SAP master data objects (Material, Vendor, BOM, Routing, Pricing, Customer, etc.) • Understanding of S/4HANA data model changes vs. ECC • Familiarity with SAP MDG or governance tools (preferred) • Experience with data migration tools (SAP Migration Cockpit, LVM, ETL) • Ability to interpret functional specs and data models Key Responsibilities • Data Enablement & Solution Design • Collaborate with global/regional stakeholders to define data requirements for value stream processes • Translate business designs into master and transactional data definitions in S/4HANA • Ensure consistent data models across regions • Validate data readiness for end-to-end business processes (Plan, Source, Make, Deliver, Return) • Functional Process Data Ownership • Define data objects, attributes, and required fields • Support business rules, validations, and derivations • Align data structures to SAP best practices and industry standards • Data Migration & Readiness • Support data cleansing, enrichment, and harmonization • Define and validate data mapping from legacy to S/4HANA • Participate in mock conversions, data loads, and reconciliation • Ensure data quality before cutover • Data Governance & Standards • Help establish and enforce global data standards/policies • Collaborate with Master Data and Data Governance teams • Define roles and stewardship models for value stream data • Contribute to data quality monitoring and remediation • Testing, Cutover & Hypercare • Support testing with focus on data accuracy • Validate business scenarios with migrated/created data • Support cutover planning and execution from a data perspective • Provide post-go-live support and stabilization Other Details • Location: Remote, India only • Duration: 7 months (possible extension) • Openings: 4
