Commercial Planning Manager/ Sales Planning Analyst – Hybrid (New York, NY)
Location: 501 West 30th Street, New York, NY (Hybrid)
Duration: 6-month contract
Pay: $50–$55/hour on W2
Are you a data-driven Business Analyst with strong planning and forecasting skills? Join a leading luxury beauty brand and play a key role in commercial planning, sales forecasting, and business performance tracking.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Weekly Order Write meetings and support Commerce team in consolidating Gross to Net projections.
Report monthly/quarterly Net Sales Estimates (LE) to leadership; highlight variances, risks, and opportunities.
Actualize Retail and Net Sales by account at month end; ensure data accuracy with Analytics and Finance teams.
Track business performance and adjust forecasts as needed based on YTG (Year-to-Go) trends.
Present sales forecasts in monthly demand reviews and collaborate cross-functionally.
Support Luxe Division budget and trend deliverables in partnership with the Director of Commercial Planning.
Build and maintain complex Excel planning modules for LE, Trend, and Budget purposes.
What We’re Looking For:
Must-Haves:
Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, modeling, etc.)
Strong analytical ability with attention to detail
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities
Comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
Nice-to-Haves:
Experience in beauty, luxury, or consumer goods
Knowledge of retail math (e.g., customer margin, stock in trade, week of supply)
Familiarity with Power BI
Background in sales forecasting or commercial planning
Ideal For:
Mid-to-senior level Business Analysts with a background in sales planning, FP&A, or demand forecasting, especially in retail, CPG, or beauty industries.
