Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with strong Salesforce and data expertise to lead initiatives focused on data migration, governance, quality, and analytics. This role bridges business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that data-driven projects deliver accurate, trusted Salesforce data that drives measurable business outcomes. The ideal candidate combines project leadership, Salesforce knowledge, and business acumen to successfully manage complex cross-functional initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Salesforce Data Projects: Lead and coordinate projects related to Salesforce data migration, cleansing, structuring, governance, and reporting.
β’ Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with business leaders, Salesforce admins/developers, and technical teams to define and prioritize requirements aligned to strategic objectives.
β’ Consensus Building: Facilitate stakeholder alignment and decision-making, ensuring clarity and buy-in on Salesforce data strategy and deliverables.
β’ Project Planning & Execution: Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, and resources with a focus on Salesforce-related data deliverables.
β’ Agile Delivery: Apply Agile principles and practices to manage sprints, backlog refinement, and iterative delivery of Salesforce data solutions.
β’ Risk & Issue Management: Track progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to keep Salesforce data projects on schedule and within budget.
β’ BusinessβTechnical Liaison: Act as the primary link between business stakeholders and Salesforce technical teams, translating requirements into actionable deliverables.
β’ Data Quality Oversight: Ensure Salesforce data is validated, cleansed, deduplicated, and structured for ongoing accuracy and usability.
β’ Governance & Compliance: Implement Salesforce data governance frameworks, standards, and best practices to support consistency and compliance.
β’ Project Documentation: Produce and maintain project charters, requirements docs, risk logs, status reports, and post-implementation reviews.
Qualifications:
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Business, Information Technology, Data Science, or related field.
β’ 5+ years of experience managing data-focused projects, including Salesforce data migration and governance initiatives.
β’ Proven ability to gather requirements, manage stakeholders, and deliver projects that improve Salesforce data quality and usability.
β’ Strong business acumen with a track record of delivering measurable business outcomes through data initiatives.
β’ Excellent communication, facilitation, and negotiation skills across technical and business teams.
β’ Familiarity with Salesforce data models, objects, and relationships (Accounts, Contacts, Opportunities, Leads, custom objects).
β’ Experience with Salesforce data management tools (Data Loader, Dataloader.io, MuleSoft, Informatica, or similar ETL platforms).
β’ Knowledge of data governance practices, data quality frameworks, and metadata/master data management.
β’ Hands-on experience working in Agile environments (Scrum, SAFe, or Kanban), including backlog grooming, sprint planning, and iterative delivery.
β’ Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Azure Dev ops, MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet, Planview).
β’ PMP, PMI-ACP, or Salesforce-specific certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Data Architecture & Management Designer) are highly desirable.
