SAP Accounting Support - Fixed Asset Conversion Lead

Position Title: SAP Accounting Support - Fixed Asset Conversion Lead Location: Milwaukee Wisconsin 53203 OR Alpharetta, GA 30004 Duration: 12 Months (Possible Extension/Conversion) • • • Due to client requirements this role is only open to USC OR GC candidates/ NO C2C • • • Manager Notes: SAP ACCOUNTING FUNCTION ANALYST – FIXED ASSET CONVERSION LEAD • Managing the work. Manage the work component of this which includes working with other team members and handling the asset sub ledger/asset conversion. • Data analysis portion. Working through the content to get it into the right format, templates, and processes. • The systems we are converting from include Oracle, SAP ECC version, and Sage. Converting to S4 HANA Asset Subledger. Don't feel there is a lot of value in working in the older systems. • BDC..BAPIS.. • Alteryx is the primary tool being used - does not need to use BAPIs. More Data Analyst type skillset for the data work. • We also have a technical team that will handle the LSMW approach. This person will populate the Excel template that is USED in the SAP conversion process. • Will get the asset subledger files from the users, doing the master data conversions into the Excel load template. • Work is going to be done for Assets based in EMEA Required Skills • Strong SAP AA module experience. • Data conversion & reconciliation expertise. • Strong communication and training capabilities. • Detail-oriented analytical skills. • Alteryx experience a plus. Role Summary • This role leads the fixed asset conversion for Finsys, ensuring accurate extraction, mapping, and migration from legacy systems into SAP. Key Responsibilities • Lead asset data extraction, cleansing, mapping, and validation. • Interpret current-state structures and apply SAP AA module rules. • Align Accounting, Tax, and SAP teams to global template. • Create mapping documents, reconciliation methods, and cutover plans. • Provide updates to functional leads and program management as required. • Perform test and actual loads, validate results, resolve issues, and ensure data integrity. • Leverage Alteryx concepts (experience preferred).
