SAP Business Data Analyst (W2-Contract)

Iris client, one of their Manufacturing Client is looking to hire Business Analyst (SAP Data Applications) for Parsippany, New Jersey(4 days hybrid/week) Job Title: SAP Business Data Analyst Location: New Jersey(4 days hybrid/week) Experience: 10+ Years Job description: We are seeking a Senior Business/Data Analyst Contractor that has SAP and Cloud-Data experience that will have the responsibility for eliciting business needs, performing detailed analysis and documentation, modeling processes, evaluating impacts, prioritizing business requests, and partnering with the project teams to ensure the successful delivery of new Cloud-Data Lake capabilities in support of various applications. • Work closely with dev teams on data side, experience with database or Datawarehouse teams, sql query experience. • Data mapping is must, data analysis • Experience with ERP, preferably SAP • Work on order to cash (OTC), supply chain modules, plus but not important ESSENTIAL DUTIES • Solve complex business problems utilizing business process redesign and cloud computing technologies. • Consult with the data engineering team and functional unit owners (Finance, Sales, Supply Chain) and document a gap analysis of capabilities, requirements and needs against technology. • Apply business process re-engineering methodologies for systems modernization. • Develops new standard operating procedures documentation and a handbook for Data Lake. • Prepare and present findings, recommendations, new operating models, and new workflows in consultation with the data engineering team. • Creates methodology to measure process performance against established metrics. • Responsible for completing assignments with the ability to work on 1-3 projects. • Understanding the business needs and requests, identifying solutions, gathering information, and translating business needs into documented artifacts that are understandable to business and IT personnel alike. • Work with the business users to analyze processes and system issues and turn them into actionable system changes that benefit the requesting party(s), improve efficiency in operations and overall performance. • Collaborate with project teams and business partners during project planning, incremental software delivery reviews, and User Acceptance testing to ensure the software has been implemented based on the specifications. Education: • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related majors. • 10+ years of IT experience; preferably in enterprise Business-to-Business durable goods, construction, or building materials manufacturing. • 10+ years’ experience in systems analysis, data analysis and design with proven record of successful large scale project implementations • Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or similar certification is a plus.
