Role description
Need a Fieldglass engineer, not a user.
Integrations (e.g., REST APIs, batch loads, ERP/HRIS systems) and data-flows between Fieldglass and other enterprise systems.
• You will support the configuration, administration, integration, and adoption of the Fieldglass solution to manage contingent workforce, services procurement, vendor management, and/or statement-of-work processes. You will work closely with operations, procurement, HR, IT and vendor/supplier partners to ensure that the system is optimized, maintained, and delivers value.
• Configure and administer the Fieldglass system (including roles, permissions, workflows, job postings, requisitions, SOWs, worker onboarding, off-boarding)
• Define and manage master data objects (workers, suppliers, job codes, rates, cost centers), qualification sets, and templates in Fieldglass
• Support or lead integrations between Fieldglass and other systems (e.g., ERP/payroll, HRIS, supplier systems)
• Design and implement qualification frameworks, job-posting templates and job-requisition workflows within Fieldglass.
• Manage reporting, analytics, dashboards and status tracking of contingent workforce or external services spend via Fieldglass tools
• Provide training and support to internal stakeholders and supplier partners on how to use Fieldglass effectively
• Drive best-practice processes for contingent workforce / services procurement lifecycle (request → supplier selection → worker onboarding → time/invoice → off-boarding)
• Act as subject-matter-expert for Fieldglass features, release updates, new modules, and optimize system adoption
• Troubleshoot issues, coordinate with Fieldglass support or implementation partners as needed
• Monitor compliance, data integrity (worker records, supplier records, rates, service-orders), and help enforce policies around contingent labor/ services spend
• Designs, develops, tests, and debugs software applications and systems
• Supports and monitors software across test, integration, and production environments
• Adheres to security and regulatory best practices to ensure software compliance
• Collaborates and co-creates effectively with teams in product and the business to align technology initiatives with business objectives
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, and/or comparable experience
• Knowledge of distributed (multi-tiered) systems, algorithms, NoSQL and relational databases
• Knowledge of the core tools used in the planning, analyzing, crafting, building, testing, configuring, and maintaining of assigned application(s)
• Certification in SAP Fieldglass (or equivalent credential) demonstrating formal training and knowledge of the platform
• Proven experience (typically 2+ years) working in an SAP Fieldglass environment (configuration/administering)
• Strong understanding of contingent workforce management (CW, MSP, VMS) or services procurement (SOW, Statement of Work)
• Ability to configure master data objects, job postings, qualification requirements, and to set up workflows within Fieldglass.
• Familiarity with integrations (e.g., REST APIs, batch loads, ERP/HRIS systems) and data-flows between Fieldglass and other enterprise systems
• Strong analytical skills: ability to build reports, dashboards, interpret data, present insights
• Excellent stakeholder-management and communication skills: able to partner with procurement, HR, suppliers, IT, business units
• Good project management skills: able to lead or support system enhancements, upgrades, roll-outs
• Understanding of supplier/vendor management, worker onboarding/ off-boarding, rate negotiation, regulatory/compliance issues
• Ability to adapt to system updates and new features (e.g., skills-based hiring, AI-driven qualification matching).
Preferred Qualifications:
• Certification beyond standard (e.g., advanced admin or functional specialist in Fieldglass)
• Experience in global deployments (multiple countries, currencies, labor regulations)
• Familiarity with contingent workforce compliance (e.g., worker classification, labor law, data privacy)
• Experience in change management, user-adoption programs, training delivery
