SAP Global Trade Services (GTS) Expert

About the Role: We are seeking an experienced SAP Global Trade Services (SAP GTS) Consultant with strong expertise in trade data management and customs compliance. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with U.S. trade regulations, tariff schedules, and global trade processes, combined with strong technical skills in data analysis, reporting, and visualization. Key Responsibilities: • Work on SAP Global Trade Services (GTS) implementations and support, with a focus on compliance and trade processes. • Utilize knowledge of Customs Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) system, particularly Entry Summary and Reporting modules. • Apply understanding of supplemental tariffs (reciprocal tariffs, Section 232, etc.) and compliance requirements. • Manage trade data using Chapter 99, Subchapter III of the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS). • Perform data wrangling, data engineering, analytics, and visualization to support decision-making and compliance reporting. • Develop and optimize workflows using tools such as Excel, Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, or R. • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate reporting and compliance with global trade standards. Required Skills & Qualifications: • 10+ years of experience in SAP Global Trade Services (SAP GTS). • Strong understanding of trade data and customs compliance systems (ACE, tariffs, HTSUS). • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, SUMIF, COUNTIF, etc.). • Experience in at least one of the following areas: • Data wrangling • Data engineering • Data visualization • Data analytics / Data science • Solid understanding of dataset operations (join, filter, append, summarize). • Knowledge of different data types (string/text, numeric, boolean, etc.). Preferred Skills: • Advanced Excel functions (SORT, FILTER, UNIQUE, etc.). • Experience with: • Alteryx • Microsoft Power Apps (Power Query, Power BI, etc.) • Tableau • SQL • Programming languages (Python, R, VBA, etc.) • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to work independently and in teams.
