Primary Services is excited to announce the role of SAP Master Data Analyst for our client, a large-scale organization with a significant global footprint. As a SAP Master Data Analyst, you will manage the integrity of item master data within the ERP system, ensuring that all records are standardized and accurate. This role requires strong attention to detail as you work across departments to maintain compliance and keep materials and information flowing smoothly through the supply chain. Responsibilities β€’ Manage the item master process to ensure effective product data governance across the organization. β€’ Create clear, standardized, and compliant item descriptions based on engineering requests, technical drawings, and supplier documentation. β€’ Configure proper item attributes, including units of measure, part categories, lead times, and sourcing information within the ERP system. β€’ Audit and maintain accurate HTS and ECCN classifications for all items to ensure adherence to global trade compliance regulations. β€’ Execute post-setup item master management involving revision controls, replacement items, and alternate item relationships. β€’ Validate and update classifications as required by regulatory changes or management requests. β€’ Maintain a comprehensive audit trail to support internal and external audits related to trade compliance. β€’ Implement data governance standards for item naming conventions and attribute management. β€’ Identify and resolve duplicate or incomplete item master records to ensure database health. β€’ Partner with engineering, logistics, and IT teams to ensure item masters support procurement and sourcing needs. Qualifications β€’ Associate’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, International Trade, or Engineering. β€’ 2 years of experience in item master management, materials management, or trade compliance. β€’ Proficiency working with ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP. β€’ Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred. β€’ Professional certification, such as a Certified Customs Specialist (CCS). β€’ Knowledge of HTS classification, ECCN determination, and EAR and CBP regulations. β€’ Familiarity with global manufacturing or industrial automation industries. β€’ Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, bills of material, and technical specifications. β€’ Experience with master data governance tools and industry best practices.
