Location: Chichester (Hybrid)
Salary: £500 – £550 per day (Inside IR35)

Ribble Recruitment are assisting a local authority with an exciting interim opportunity for an experienced SAP Payroll Specialist to support the implementation of a new Oracle HR and Payroll system.
This role plays a key part in the Smart Core Project, ensuring a smooth transition from SAP to Oracle, maintaining data integrity, and supporting payroll compliance throughout the change programme.
You’ll work closely with project leads, system integrators, and HR/Payroll teams to map existing SAP processes, validate data, and advise on calculation rules, testing, and HMRC requirements.Key Responsibilities
• Analyse current SAP HR and Payroll processes and document requirements for Oracle.
• Support data mapping, design, and configuration review with functional leads and the system integrator.
• Provide expert guidance during data migration, UAT, and payroll testing phases.
• Advise on UK payroll legislation and compliance.
• Contribute to report specifications, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business needs.Skills & Experience
• Proven experience with SAP HR/Payroll configuration and reporting.
• Strong understanding of UK payroll and HMRC regulations.
• Background in ERP implementation or migration projects (Oracle experience desirable).
• Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid setting.Working Arrangements
Hybrid working is available, with the majority of tasks deliverable remotely.
However, attendance at Chichester offices will be required during key phases of the Oracle implementation programme.
