Salary commensurate with experience β€’ Overview: We are seeking an experienced SAP SuccessFactors Developer to support an enterprise-level implementation and optimization effort for a Human Capital Management System (HCMS). This individual will be responsible for the design, build, and integration of SuccessFactors modules aligned with the clients' HR and payroll modernization goals. This role will be instrumental in the development and configuration of Employee Central, Recruiting, Learning, Performance, and Goals, while ensuring seamless integration with enterprise systems. Duties β€’ Design, develop, and configure SAP SuccessFactors modules in line with HCMS objectives and implementation roadmap. β€’ Support data migration, interfaces, and system integration with legacy and future-state systems (e.g., ERP, Benefits, Payroll). β€’ Implement business rules, workflows, and role-based permissions to support complex public-sector HR structures and shared services. β€’ Lead or support data migration, integration (with SAP and non-SAP systems), and reporting activities. β€’ Assist in the development of technical documentation, interface specifications, test plans, and cutover plans. β€’ Participate in system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and defect resolution. β€’ Contribute to knowledge transfer, user training, and post-go-live support. Mandatory Qualifications β€’ 5+ years of experience as an SAP SuccessFactors Developer or Consultant. β€’ Hands-on expertise with multiple SAP SuccessFactors modules (e.g., Employee Central, Recruiting, Learning, Performance & Goals). β€’ Experience working on large-scale HCM implementations, ideally for public sector or higher education. β€’ Strong skills in SuccessFactors configuration: XML, MDF, workflows, Integration Center, Intelligent Services Center. β€’ Experience building and managing integrations with SAP and non-SAP systems, including use of SAP CPI (Cloud Platform Integration) or other middleware. β€’ Familiarity with data migration, interface mapping, and role-based permissions design. β€’ Experience writing or supporting test scripts, validation plans, and issue resolution processes. Desirable Qualifications: β€’ Experience working in higher education, especially large, decentralized university systems. β€’ Prior experience working with New York State (NYS), or New York City (NYC) government agencies. β€’ Understanding of public sector HR, including union rules, civil service classification, and state compliance frameworks. β€’ SAP SuccessFactors certification(s) is strongly preferred. β€’ Knowledge of S/4HANA, SAP ECC, or legacy HRMS environments is a plus.
