SAS Developer

SAS Engineer – SAS 9.4 / Viya 3.5 / Viya 4 SAS Engineer to join a release team supporting a key public sector transformation project. Hybrid role with 2 days per week in the West Midlands. SC clearance required prior to start. You will be responsible for configuring, maintaining, and optimising SAS environments, supporting platform stability, migrations to SAS Viya, and integration with enterprise systems. Key Responsibilities • Design, configure, and maintain SAS environments (SAS 9.4, Viya 3.5, Viya 4) • Support migration to SAS Viya 4 (Kubernetes, multi-tenancy) • Manage configuration, deployments, and environment artefacts • Integrate SAS with Oracle and CI/CD pipelines • Monitor performance, ensuring stability and security • Provide technical support and troubleshooting • Automate environment provisioning and data transfers Key Skills & Experience • Strong experience with SAS (Enterprise Guide, DI Studio, SAS Studio) • Hands-on SAS Viya (3.5 / 4) configuration and migration • Experience with SAS Visual Analytics / Visual Investigator • Oracle integration and data pipeline experience • Configuration and environment management expertise • Understanding of testing lifecycle and environments • SC clearance required Desirable Skills • AWS or Azure, Kubernetes, Docker • GitLab CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code • Airflow or similar scheduling tools
