Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced SBI Developer to support ongoing integration enhancements, new development initiatives, and platform optimization efforts.
This role will focus on updating existing integrations, building new workflows and maps, maintaining platform performance, and providing advanced production support. The ideal candidate brings deep hands-on experience with IBM Sterling B2B Integrator in enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities
• Update and enhance existing SBI integrations based on business requirements
• Gather and analyze requirements for new integration initiatives
• Design, develop, and maintain SBI Business Processes (BPML workflows)
• Develop and support integration maps (EDI, Flat File, XML)
• Perform unit and integration testing for new and modified integrations
• Administer and maintain the SBI platform, including patching, tuning, and configuration
• Provide Level 3 production support and troubleshoot complex issues
• Create and maintain technical and functional documentation
Required Qualifications
• 8+ years of hands-on experience with IBM Sterling B2B Integrator (SBI)
• Strong expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining BPML workflows
• Extensive experience with map development (EDI, Flat File, XML)
• Experience with SBI administration (patching, performance tuning, configuration)
• Proficiency in communication protocols including AS2, HTTP/S, FTP/S, JMS, and MQ
• Experience with Oracle/SQL
• Strong Unix/AIX experience
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in large-scale enterprise integration environments
• Strong troubleshooting and production support background
