Role Overview: Seeking a Senior Scala Engineer to build and enhance client-facing REST APIs supporting IPTV features like entitlement, parental control, and network verification.
Tech Stack: Work with Scala, Scalatra, Memcached, Kafka, MongoDB, Docker, Kubernetes, and Splunk, leveraging functional programming and asynchronous Futures.
Scale & Performance: Systems handle hundreds of millions of REST requests daily, requiring a highly performant and reliable architecture.
Responsibilities: Design, develop, and optimize microservices; manage complex projects; and operate autonomously within a small, agile, and high-responsibility team.
