Role description
DataStaff Inc. is seeking a SCRIPT Data Analyst for a long-term contract opportunity with one of our direct clients located in Raleigh, NC. • This position is hybrid Responsibilities: • Ingest, clean, and validate manufacturer price increase notices, new drug submissions, and other required data ensuring accuracy and completeness. • Maintain and version the metric dictionary and annual report metric definitions. • Develop, maintain, and refresh Power BI dashboards for both the public transparency portal and internal oversight/monitoring. • Ensure strict confidentiality and data governance compliance, including trade secret protections and coordination with Legal/Privacy. • Monitor submission activity and compliance metrics, providing internal dashboards and automated reporting to support program operations. • Analyze trends in drug pricing, cost drivers, submission patterns, and non-compliance risks to support program and policy decision-making. • Develop automated visualizations, reports, and analytic summaries for leadership, program managers, and external inquiries. • Ensure data integrity, security, and regulatory compliance under state and federal requirements (e.g., HIPAA, trade secret statutes). • Collaborate with IT, Legal, and program teams to optimize data pipelines, workflows, and portal functionality. • Create and maintain documentation, metadata, and governance standards to support the transparency program. • Provide ad hoc analytical support for policy development, legislative requests, and external stakeholders Required Skills: • 5 Years - Power BI development (dashboards, reports, automated refreshes) • 5 Years - Data ingestion, cleaning, and validation • 5 Years - Data quality assurance and accuracy checking • 5 Years - Maintaining data dictionaries, metadata, and documentation • 5 Years - Data governance, confidentiality, and compliance (HIPAA, trade secret rules) • 5 Years - Monitoring submission activity and compliance metric • 5 Years - Trend analysis for pricing, cost drivers, and submission patterns • 5 Years - Creating visualizations, analytic summaries, and automated reporting • 5 Years - Knowledge of data integrity, security standards, and regulatory requirements • 3 Years - Collaboration with IT, Legal, and program teams • 5 Years - Optimizing workflows and data pipelines • 5 Years - Strong written documentation skills • 3 Years - Supporting policy analysis and ad hoc requests This opportunity is available on a corp-to-corp basis or as a W2 position with a competitive benefits package.
