Position : SD-WAN Versa Onboarding Activation Engineer: Visa Independent, W2 : Only USA Location : USA -Remote Type of Job : Contract : 12 Months Experience : 15+ Years Skillset Requirement: Versa SDWAN,ZTAN, Routing(BGP,OSP etc.), Switching(Vlan, STP, RSTP),VPN(L2/L3VPN), MPLS, Tunneling Protocols-IPSec, GRE, SSL/TSL, Web Security Technology. Position Overview: Technical Design Engineer who possesses in-depth knowledge and expertise in designing, implementing, and optimizing SDWAN solutions. The candidate must have a strong background in Versa network appliances with knowledge of SD-WAN technologies, particularly in Versa and SDWAN products. The SD-WAN Design Engineer will be responsible for understanding complex networking requirements, translating them into robust Versa /SD-WAN designs, and leading the implementation process. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Job Description : • Expertise in Versa Network and Security products • IP Routing - BGP, OSPF, Static, Network Address Translation • Next Generation Firewall capabilities, configuration, and deployment primarily • Knowledge of remote user access technologies and WAN Technologies (MPLS, MetroE, DIA, Broadband, Fiberplus) • Configure, troubleshoot, and support Fortinet - SDWAN & SASE platforms. • Versa ,ZTNA- SWG, FWaaS, CASB, DLP and RBI, Zero Trust. • Hands-on experience in layer-3 protocols (BGP, OSPF, Static), route redistribution, and route filtering • Hands-on experience in layer-2 protocols (Spanning-tree, HSRP). • Hands-on experience with VRP, NAT • Day-to-day interaction with clients, telecom providers, equipment suppliers, and 3rd party network vendors, to engage their technical as well as non technical resources to perform tasks.
