Primary Services is excited to announce the role of Senior Accounting & Financial Reporting Analyst for a leading international energy and services company. This position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with senior global leaders, including the President and CEO, while overseeing accounting processes and strategic reporting initiatives. You will serve as a key finance liaison between U.S. operations and international affiliates, ensuring timely reporting, compliance with U.S. GAAP, and seamless coordination with global shared service centers.
Responsibilities
β’ Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting processes for multiple business units and entities.
β’ Prepare financial statements and accompanying footnotes under U.S. GAAP standards.
β’ Coordinate with external auditors on intercompany transfer pricing and compliance reviews.
β’ Analyze and interpret financial results, commentary, and performance trends for management reporting.
β’ Lead the accounting team on month-end close activities, journal entry review, and account reconciliations.
β’ Act as the primary point of contact with the global shared services team for accounting, reporting, and audit deliverables.
β’ Leverage SAP Template Light Harmonie to optimize financial data accuracy and operational efficiency.
β’ Support configuration changes, testing, and deployment of SAP accounting developments.
β’ Interface with business unit leaders, Treasury, Credit, Internal Control, and Tax departments to ensure compliance and timely execution of financial deliverables.
β’ Assist in developing and monitoring financial controls, risk management, and process improvements.
β’ Manage and mentor team members, ensuring effective onboarding and cross-training.
β’ Prepare and coordinate tax schedules and reports with internal and third-party service providers.
Qualifications
β’ Bachelorβs Degree in Accounting or Finance required.
β’ Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in accounting, auditing, or corporate financial reporting.
β’ Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and technical accounting principles.
β’ Proficiency in SAP required; experience with Template Light Harmonie highly preferred.
β’ Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including complex formulas and data analysis tools.
β’ Demonstrated experience preparing and reviewing financial statements and consolidated reports.
β’ Ability to collaborate effectively with executive leadership and cross-functional international teams.
β’ CPA certification or progress toward CPA designation preferred.
