Senior AI Business Analyst

Job Title: Senior AI Business Analyst Location: Waltham, MA (Hybrid – 2 Days Onsite) Duration: 6+ Months Contract Job Summary: We are looking for a Senior Business Process & AI Enablement Consultant to support an AI-powered enterprise search platform. The ideal candidate will work with business, product, engineering, and vendor teams to improve business processes, gather requirements, manage project activities, and create documentation. This role requires strong experience with Agile, Jira, Confluence, and enterprise AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot or Claude. Required Skills • 5+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Project Coordination, or Process Improvement. • Experience with business process mapping, current/future state analysis, and gap analysis. • Strong experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements. • Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence. • Experience supporting Agile projects, sprint planning, backlog management, and release coordination. • Strong project coordination, status reporting, and risk/issue tracking. • Experience creating training guides, user documentation, and knowledge base content. • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, changing environment. Preferred Skills • Experience in Biopharma, Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical, Healthcare, or other regulated industries. • Experience with enterprise search, knowledge management, or AI-powered search platforms. • Knowledge of tools like AlphaSense, Patsnap, or similar platforms. • Hands-on experience using Microsoft Copilot, Claude, or other AI assistants for documentation, reporting, or workflow improvement. • Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS is a plus). • Experience with workflow automation or AI-assisted business processes. Key Responsibilities • Gather and document business requirements. • Analyze and improve business processes. • Coordinate activities across business, product, engineering, and vendor teams. • Manage Agile ceremonies, backlog, sprint planning, and release activities. • Administer Jira and Confluence, including dashboards and documentation. • Track project status, risks, issues, dependencies, and action items. • Create user guides, training materials, FAQs, and process documentation. • Support platform roadmap planning and knowledge management. • Use AI tools to improve documentation, reporting, meeting summaries, and training content. • Present updates and recommendations to business leaders and stakeholders. Nice to Have • Experience with AI-enabled knowledge management. • Understanding of enterprise search, semantic search, or agentic AI platforms. • Experience supporting market intelligence, R&D, or business development platforms. • Familiarity with workflow automation and AI-assisted productivity tools.
