Job Title: Senior AI Engineer – Industrial & Customer AI
Location: London (Hybrid – 2–3 days/week in office)
Contract Type: Inside IR35
Duration: Initial contract with potential for extension
Start Date: ASAP
Are you a technically skilled and versatile AI Engineer with a passion for solving complex problems and delivering impactful solutions? We’re looking for a Senior AI Engineer to join a dynamic team working on cutting-edge industrial and customer-focused AI initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the design, development, and deployment of AI and machine learning solutions for enterprise environments.
• Apply advanced techniques such as deep learning, graph neural networks, object detection, sensor fusion, vector embedding, retrieval augmented generation, and generative AI.
• Provide strategic input on AI architecture and scalable deployment strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build intelligent systems that autonomously analyze data and generate actionable insights.
• Stay ahead of the curve by contributing thought leadership in emerging AI technologies, including large language models and generative AI.
Required Skills & Experience:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related STEM field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in data science and AI engineering.
• Proven track record of delivering AI software and deploying solutions in production.
• Strong proficiency in Python and libraries such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-Learn, Keras, Numpy, Pandas, Langchain, Pinecone, and more.
• Experience with cloud platforms and compute systems for model training and deployment.
• Excellent communication and strategic thinking skills.
Preferred Experience:
• Familiarity with industrial domains such as reliability, corrosion, WRFM, and process engineering.
• Exposure to customer platforms and trading ERP systems.
• Experience with Azure ML Studio, Foundry, or Databricks Mosaic.
• Knowledge of NLP, LLM deployment, Agentic AI (MCP, A2A, N8N), and RAG systems.
