Role description
Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Senior AI Engineer to lead the development and deployment of advanced artificial intelligence solutions. This role requires deep expertise in machine learning, data mining, natural language processing, and big data analytics. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with cloud platforms, big data frameworks, and AI frameworks to drive innovative projects that enhance business capabilities. The Senior AI Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable models, optimize data pipelines, and implement cutting-edge AI technologies to solve complex problems.
Duties
Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models using frameworks such as TensorFlow, Spark MLlib, and other AI tools.
Lead data mining and analysis efforts utilizing SQL, Python, R, SAS, and ETL tools like Talend to extract insights from large datasets.
Implement natural language processing solutions for text analysis and conversational AI applications.
Develop scalable data pipelines leveraging Hadoop, Spark, Bash (Unix shell), and other big data technologies.
Architect database designs optimized for high-performance analytics and model training workflows.
Deploy machine learning models into production environments using cloud services such as AWS and ensure seamless integration with existing systems.
Conduct model training, validation, and fine-tuning to improve accuracy and efficiency.
Collaborate with data engineers and software developers to optimize data flow and system performance.
Stay current with emerging trends in quantum engineering, AI research, and analytics to incorporate innovative techniques into projects.
Document processes, develop technical specifications, and provide mentorship to junior team members.
Experience
Proven experience as a Senior AI Engineer or similar role with a strong portfolio of deploying AI solutions in production environments.
Extensive knowledge of machine learning frameworks including TensorFlow, Spark MLlib, and other relevant tools.
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS for model deployment and scalable computing resources.
Strong programming skills in Python, Java, C, R, VBA, Bash (Unix shell), with a focus on data analysis and model development.
Expertise in big data technologies including Hadoop, Spark, SQL databases, and ETL processes like Talend.
Demonstrated ability in database design for analytics applications.
Familiarity with natural language processing techniques and tools like Looker for visualization.
Experience working with unstructured data sources such as linked data or large-scale datasets from diverse sources.
Knowledge of analytics tools and techniques including data mining, model training strategies, and model deployment best practices.
Background in quantum engineering or related fields is a plus but not required.
