Senior AI/ML Engineer

Description - W2 Only Role: AI/ML Engineer - Core AI & Agentic Workflows Duration: Contract-to-Hire Location: Hybrid - 3 days/week onsite in Phoenix Office Role: We are seeking Snr AI/ML Engineers who are passionate about building core AI models and agentic workflows from the ground up. This is a hands-on engineering role where you will design, develop, and deploy AI/ML solutions daily-working closely with stakeholders and other engineers to drive innovation and deliver production-ready systems. We are looking for strong problem solvers with the ability to take ownership and drive projects forward. Key Responsibilities: • Model Development: Build and deploy AI/ML models including classical ML, Generative AI (LLMs), and agentic AI workflows. • Agentic AI Solutions: Design intelligent, autonomous workflows for onboarding processes, approvals, and document intelligence. • Hands-On Engineering: Own end-to-end development of AI solutions-coding, testing, and deploying models in production environments. • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions. • Innovation & POCs: Experiment with emerging AI technologies and frameworks; develop proof-of-concepts for new use cases. • Integration: Embed AI/ML capabilities into enterprise applications for both batch and real-time processing. Required Skills: Education: Bachelor's or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field. Seasoned Machine Learning Engineer with hands-on experience developing in: • Agentic AI workflows and NLP • Generative AI (LLMs, LangChain, RAG frameworks) • Classical ML (supervised/unsupervised) Deep understanding of machine learning algorithms, model architecture, and AI frameworks to design and implement production-grade solutions. Expert-level Python programming for AI/ML development and workflow automation Experience integrating AI/ML solutions into enterprise applications (batch and real-time). Cloud expertise: Strong experience with cloud-based AI/ML environments (Google Cloud Platform preferred; AWS experience acceptable). Experience with Big Data Ecosystems (PySpark, BigQuery) Familiarity with MCP (Model Context Protocol) Skills Agentic AI, Generative AI, Python, google cloud, NLP, LLM, LangChain, RAG frameworks, MCP, machine learning, modeling, bigquery, pyspark Additional Skills & Qualifications Non-Technical: Strong Problem Solver: Ability to take ownership, work independently, and drive projects forward. Collaborative Mindset: Comfortable interacting with product and tech stakeholders daily. Education: Bachelor's or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field.
