Role Summary The Senior Analyst Credit Analytics is a newly created role designed to strengthen credit risk management through advanced analytics and data driven insights. This position plays a key role in evaluating creditworthiness, monitoring portfolio performance, and supporting sound lending and credit policy decisions. The role focuses on credit modeling, financial statement analysis, and the effective use of third party bureau data. The analyst partners closely with cross functional stakeholders to enhance credit strategies, improve risk governance, and deliver clear insights to leadership. Key Responsibilities • Perform advanced credit analytics to evaluate borrower risk and portfolio trends • Build, validate, and maintain credit risk models, scorecards, and predictive tools • Leverage Experian and other bureau data for credit decisioning and monitoring • Analyze financial statements to assess financial health and credit capacity • Develop key credit metrics, risk indicators, and monitoring dashboards • Support credit policy development through analytical insights and recommendations • Prepare clear presentations and documentation for senior management • Ensure compliance with internal risk frameworks, governance standards, and credit controls Key Requirements • 5 plus years of experience in credit analytics or credit risk management • Demonstrated experience building credit models and performing quantitative analysis • Hands on experience working with Experian or other credit bureau data • Strong financial statement analysis skills for credit evaluation • Advanced Excel skills including pivots, lookups, and data analysis techniques • Experience translating complex analytics into actionable business insights • Self starter with strong problem solving, communication, and stakeholder skills Additional Preferences • Experience supporting large, complex organizations • Exposure to ticketing systems and working within SLAs • Knowledge of GAAP related to credit and accounting processes • Experience in distribution, construction, or building materials is a plus • Familiarity with ServiceNow, Oracle, or similar platforms is beneficial Work Environment • Full time, direct hire opportunity • Remote role with preference for Central Time zone • Core business hours aligned with standard weekday operations Call to Action If you are a seasoned credit analytics professional who enjoys building models, analyzing risk, and influencing business decisions, we want to hear from you.
