Role description
- Working knowledge of EDW architecture and design
- Applied experience using Medallion architecture
- Business metrics that tie the technology to value creation
- Expert knowledge, and applied experience, in dimensional modeling (not dbt models) (conceptual, logical, and physical models)
Need to have:
• DBT
• Analytics with Salesforce is preferred.
Client is looking for an Analytics Engineer to build scalable, high-quality data models that power Sales and Revenue insights. This role sits at the intersection of data engineering and business intelligence, partnering closely with Sales Ops and GTM leadership to deliver trusted, actionable analytics.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Design and build performant analytical datasets using advanced SQL and modern modeling practices
• Develop and maintain data models in DBT, including testing, documentation, and lineage
• Optimize data workflows within Snowflake, balancing performance and cost efficiency
• Translate Sales/Revenue business requirements into scalable data products and dashboards
• Support CI/CD-driven analytics development (version control, code reviews, deployment pipelines)
• Deliver executive-ready reporting for pipeline, forecasting, quota attainment, and revenue performance
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
• 5+ years in Analytics Engineering, Data Engineering, or advanced BI within a modern data stack
• Advanced SQL expertise with strong data modeling fundamentals (star/snowflake schemas, fact/dimension design, incremental models, medallion architecture)
• Hands-on experience with DBT (or equivalent transformation frameworks)
• Experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data warehouses (performance tuning, cost optimization)
• Proven ability to partner with business stakeholders and deliver trusted analytical assets
• Experience working in CI/CD-enabled data environments
• Experience supporting Sales Ops, RevOps, or Commercial Analytics teams
• Experience modeling CRM data (e.g., Salesforce)
