Role description
We’re working with a utilities client looking to bring on an experienced Analytics Engineer to support analytics build out across their cloud data platform. You’ll join an existing team as a senior level contributor, helping model and deliver trusted data across asset, customer, and operational use cases. This role suits someone hands on, comfortable working between data engineering and the business, and experienced delivering production grade data models in regulated environments. Six month initial contract with strong view to extend. Competitive hourly rate, 40 hours per week. W2 or personal LLC only. No C2C. Fully remote, EST time zone. What you will be doing β€’ Building analytics ready models using dbt β€’ Designing fact and dimension tables for asset health, outage, and customer analytics β€’ Working in Snowflake or similar cloud warehouse environments β€’ Improving data quality, testing, and documentation standards β€’ Enabling BI and operational reporting across the business What we are looking for β€’ Strong Analytics Engineer experience in cloud environments β€’ Hands on dbt in production β€’ Strong SQL and dimensional modeling skills β€’ Experience supporting regulated or enterprise environments β€’ Comfortable working with operational stakeholders Modern data stack. High impact utility use cases. Extensions likely.
