Job Title:: Senior API Developer (APIGEE) Location : Charlotte, NC (Day-1 Onsite, 5 Days a Week office) / Locals Only VISA : Only H1B's (No GC's) Job Description :We are seeking an experienced strong Senior API Developer (APIGEE) to join our team supporting Truist Bank in Charlotte, NC. The ideal candidate should have deep expertise in API design, development, and security, with strong hands-on experience in APIGEE and a solid understanding of authentication models and cloud-based infrastructure .The developer will be responsible for designing and implementing secure, scalable, and high-performance API solutions that integrate multiple systems and services within the Truist enterprise environment . Responsibilitie • s:Design, develop, and maintain APIs and integrations using Google APIGE • E.Work with REST and SOAP-based web services for various enterprise application • s.Implement and manage authentication and authorization using OAuth 2.0, Client Credentials, Three-Legged Authentication, and JW • T.Configure and manage security protocols such as mTLS and SSL for secure communicatio • n.Utilize various design patterns to build scalable, reusable, and maintainable API • s.Collaborate with cloud and infrastructure teams to ensure APIs are optimized for performance and securit • y.Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues across multiple environment • s.Contribute to API governance, documentation, and best practice s. Required Skil • ls:10+ years of overall IT experience, with 8+ years of hands-on experience in API development and integrati • on.Strong hands-on experience with APIGEE (designing, developing, deploying, and securing API • s).Proficiency with REST APIs and SOAP web servic • es.Excellent understanding of authentication models, including OAuth 2.0, Client Credentials, JWT, and Three-Legged Authenticati • on.Solid knowledge of MTLS and SSL setup and configurati • on.Strong understanding of API design patterns and best practic • es.Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (GCP, AWS, or Azur • e).Strong problem-solving and communication skil • ls.Experience working in Agile/Scrum environmen ts.
