Senior Application Specific Integrated Engineer

Job Description: We are seeking a highly experienced Boomi Integration Specialist with 5–8 years of expertise in integrating business applications using Boomi. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of integration architecture and hands-on experience with EAI & B2B integrations utilizing multiple communication protocols (SFTP, REST, SOAP APIs) and data formats (CSV, JSON, XML, BAI2). Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain integration solutions using Boomi. • Develop and manage Workato recipes and Genies for business automation workflows. • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable integration solutions. • Integrate core business systems (CRM, HR, Finance, LMS, Legal, Forecasting, and Collaboration tools). • Optimize SQL & PL/SQL queries for data extraction and performance tuning. • Provide production support ensuring system stability and performance. • Build interactive user experiences for Slack apps, slash commands, and Slack APIs. • Implement integrations for all protocols (SFTP, REST, SOAP, and application-specific connectors). Requirements: • Boomi Integration: 5–8 years of experience developing integrations with Boomi AtomSphere. • Workato: 2–3 years of expertise building complex automation workflows and agents (Genies). • Business Integrations: Experience across CRM, HR, WMS, Accounting, Billing, LMS, and financial systems. • Human-in-the-Loop Workflows: Ability to automate business process flows integrating human decision-making steps via Slack. • SQL & PL/SQL: 3–5 years of experience working with relational databases. • Production Support: 4+ years handling integration systems in live production environments. • Financial Integrations: Experience with AP/AR, GL, and bank/treasury systems. • Payroll & Legal Integrations: 4+ years of experience automating payroll and legal data exchanges. • Supply Chain Integrations: Integration of SCM systems with external data flows. • Programming Languages: 4+ years using Java, Groovy, JavaScript, or Python for custom scripting. • Git/GitHub: Skilled in version control, code collaboration, and workflow management. Preferred Skills: • Expertise in debugging integration errors and optimizing flows. • Excellent stakeholder communication and cross-team collaboration. • Understanding of integration best practices and data security standards. • Familiarity with modern integration platforms and data governance frameworks.
