We are seeking a highly experienced Senior AWS Data Engineer with strong expertise in AWS Glue and Aurora PostgreSQL to design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and modern data processing solutions within the AWS ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines using AWS Glue (PySpark) and other AWS-native services.
• Build and maintain batch and near real-time data processing workflows.
• Utilize Aurora PostgreSQL as a primary data platform for analytical and operational workloads.
• Orchestrate and automate workflows using AWS Step Functions and Amazon EventBridge.
• Manage and process data stored in Amazon S3, leveraging Athena and the AWS Glue Data Catalog for querying and metadata management.
• Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-performance, reliable, and scalable data solutions.
Required Skills & Experience
• 13+ years of overall IT experience with a strong background in Data Engineering.
• Extensive hands-on experience with AWS Glue (PySpark).
• Strong expertise in Aurora PostgreSQL.
• Solid experience with Amazon S3, Athena, EventBridge, Step Functions, and Glue Data Catalog.
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Hands-on experience using Terraform for AWS resource provisioning and infrastructure automation.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
