Role description
Experis is currently hiring Azure Cloud Engineer for a year long contract with possible extension. This role is responsible for stabilizing, optimizing, and maturing the organizationโs Azure cloud environment. The Senior Azure Cloud Engineer will enhance governance, security, automation, and operational reliability while enabling Cloud Engineering teams through repeatable IaC patterns and ensuring seamless hybrid integration with on-prem infrastructure.

Whatโs the Job?
Establish and enforce Azure governance, policy-as-code standards, RBAC models, and security baselines across all environments.
Build and maintain reusable Infrastructure-as-Code patterns, automation pipelines, and standardized modules for networking, compute, data, and monitoring.
Review, optimize, and support Azure networking and hybrid connectivity (ExpressRoute/VPN, hub-and-spoke, Private Endpoints, DNS, routing).
Strengthen operational reliability by improving monitoring, diagnostics, DR/backup procedures, and implementing guardrails aligned with enterprise standards.
Support hybrid services (W365, VDI, Azure Stack HCI) by validating integrations, applying governance controls, and ensuring alignment with Azure cloud architecture.
Advanced hands-on expertise in Azure including governance, security, networking (ExpressRoute/VPN), compute, storage, databases, hybrid identity (Entra ID + on-prem AD), and Private Link/DNS.
Infrastructure automation experience using IaC (Bicep/Terraform), CI/CD (Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions), and PowerShell; strong documentation and knowledge-sharing skills.
