Reach Shaily Sharma -- || 908-487-4334 shaily(at)zilliontechnologies(dot)com Senior Azure ETL Engineer Location: 100 % ONSITE ( Irving, TX ) Duration: Long term ongoing with no end date The Lead Software Engineer architects, designs, codes and tests multi-platform application programs, functions, services, and other related software components in response to problem and project change requests of the highest complexity and risk. The incumbent provides leadership, technical guidance, training and mentoring to others in areas of acquired expertise. The incumbent plans, organizes, leads, supervises, and coordinates the day-to-day activities for the staff within their team. The incumbent is responsible for the efficient application of currently relevant and appropriate emerging technology in the development of quality products within the constraints of time and budget. Responsibilities • Create ETL pipelines between various internal/external systems to the team's data warehouse using principally Azure Data Factory, including both managed file transfers and retrieval of data from rest of the APIs. • Craft and implement data warehousing strategies for efficiently updating and maintaining data warehouse records in a real-time fashion. • Write complex SQL queries against Oracle, SQL Server, and Snowflake to determine operational and financial insights as well as supply logic for ongoing reports. • Create and maintain Power BI visualizations for said reports. Qualifications • Completion of Bachelor’s degree in MIS, CIS, etc. Required Skills • 5-10 years of experience performing ETL activity using Azure Data Factory (preferred) and/or Microsoft SSIS to construct high-performance and cohesive data warehouses using facts and dimensions. • 5-10 years of experience working with and writing queries for NoSQL data in Azure Table Storage, Azure CosmosDB, MongoDB, and Azure Application Insights (Kusto Query Language). • 5-10 years of advanced experience working with RDBMS platforms like SQL Server and Oracle, specifically, including: • Experience writing complex queries using subqueries, Common Table Expressions (CTEs), and window functions. • Ability to write parameterized queries and utilize variables. • Understanding of JSON data structures and the ability to query them using standard JSON-related SQL functions. • Demonstrated ability to optimize query performance through appropriate use of temporary structures and query design patterns. • Ability to decipher and modify complex stored procedures. • 5-10 years of experience writing integrations to a variety of APIs, including primarily RESTful APIs, but also integrations using SOAP and/or webhooks using .NET, Python, or Javascript. • 5 years of experience creating effective reports and dashboards using PowerBI. Ability to use DAX queries to refine reports and dashboard views. • Familiarity with the following Microsoft Azure tools a plus: Azure management portal, Azure Function apps, Azure Synaptics, and/or Azure Databricks. • 5 years of experience with the comprehensive insight into concepts, tools and processes used for estimating, tracking, managing and reporting work. • 5 years’ experience documentation skills to translate requirements into specifications for program objects, functions and systems. • 5 years’ experience estimating cost, effort and duration of product deliverables of high complexity. shaily(at)zilliontechnologies(dot)com // 9084874334 Thanks, Shaily Sharma Zillion Technologies Inc.
