Job Type: Contract Job Category: IT Senior BI Developer Location: Urbana, MD Duration: 5 months Role Description: Job Description We are seeking a Senior BI Developer with expertise in Power BI, Tableau, and Data Engineering to design and develop advanced dashboards, reporting solutions, and data pipelines. This role involves collaborating across multiple teams to deliver actionable insights, optimize performance, and support enterprise analytics initiatives. The ideal candidate will have architect-level experience in BI tools and Azure data services.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI and Tableau. Implement advanced data modeling, DAX calculations, and performance optimization for BI solutions. Build and maintain ETL pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Databricks for data transformation and integration. Develop and deploy SSAS tabular models, manage data security, and optimize query performance. Integrate dashboards into applications and ensure compliance with security standards. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, document specifications, and deliver solutions aligned with business objectives. Provide support for BI tools and resolve issues within defined SLA.Required Skills10 years of experience in Power BI, Tableau, and SQL proficiency in Python is a plus. Expertise in designing advanced Tableau dashboards and optimizing performance. Strong experience in Power BI architecture, DAX, Power Query, and report sharing strategies. Hands-on experience with Azure BI stack ADF, Databricks, SSAS, ADLS, Azure Data Lake Analytics, Azure Stream Analytics. Proficiency in data modeling, schema design, and ETL processes. Experience with Looker and Dynamics 365 is desirable.
