Role and Responsibilities CFSA is looking for a Senior Power BI/SQL Developers – 15 years exp at least with extensive experience in designing and developing reports using PowerBI and creating complex SQL queries. Candidate must be able to work onsite 4 days a week. The Developer will be a member of the DevOps team that will be implementing a new comprehensive child welfare information system (CCWIS). The candidate must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. The candidate will work closely with social workers and system developers to identify contributing factors to data quality issues and design processes to eliminate them. The candidate will also be a critical resource for overseeing data conversion from the legacy system to its new system according to the project schedule. Conduct analysis of data maintained in multiple different sources and identify processes to validate the information. Coordinate the CFSA data management governance structure, perform required analysis task and support CFSA staff in implementing recommendations. Gather and translate business requirements into detailed, production-level technical specifications, creating robust data models, data analysis features and enhancements. Collect requirements for reports from program staff, prototype reports and work with other vendors to deploy reports using the CFSA 365Dynamics platform. Write complex data joins to establish data measures across multiple tables. Modify existing reports and/or develop new reports by analyzing databases, data sources, and structures for the benefit of Users. Perform QA analysis on reports for accuracy and reports meets the intended business needs. Manage Azure Data Services including Synapse/Synapse Links, Azure SQL Pool, Data lakeDeployment of reports Minimum Qualification /Certification Requirements Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience
