Role description
Youβll act as a technical co-builder to help ship features faster in Bubble: building scalable UI/workflows, tightening data + security, and owning integrations (Bubble plugins/API Connector) with a Supabase-backed architecture where needed. The goal is rapid iteration without sacrificing maintainability, testing discipline, and clean release/version-control practices. Key responsibilities
Build and maintain core Bubble app features (UI, workflows, database structure) and troubleshoot end-to-end user flows.
Create and maintain private Bubble plugins (elements/actions/API connections), including JavaScript-based custom elements where needed.
Implement clean API integrations (including auth, error handling, and clear documentation for future maintainers).
Use Bubble version control effectively (branch hygiene, safe merges, predictable deploy process).
Improve reliability and maintainability via Bubble best practices across frontend design, security, logic organization, and ongoing maintenance.
Collaborate on Supabase integrations (API usage + Edge Functions coordination) to support backend logic.
Requirements
Expert-level Bubble experience (workflows, database, privacy rules, performance patterns, debugging).
Proven experience shipping production Bubble apps and working within Bubbleβs version control process.
Strong JavaScript skills (for Bubble plugin elements/actions and custom behavior).
Deep understanding of API integrations (REST patterns, auth, payloads, error handling).
Nice to have
Supabase experience (especially coordinating or implementing Edge Functions using TypeScript).
Experience standardizing team conventions (naming, reusable components, documentation) to keep the build maintainable as velocity increases.
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $30.00 - $48.58 per hour
Work Location: In person
