Senior Business Intelligence

Position: Senior Business Intelligence Location: Seattle, WA / Dallas, TX – Onsite Type of Employment: 12+ Months Contract Must Be Us Citizen Or Green Card Only Open To W2 Employees Not Open To 1099 Or C2 Role Description: • Strong Business Intelligence experience to turn raw data into actionable insights that drive strategic decision making. • Proficient in transforming raw data into actionable insights to drive strategic decision-making • Proficient in data analysis, reporting, and visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, OBIEE) and has deep SQL experience across Teradata/Oracle/SQL Server • Proven experience creating production BI dashboards and reports for business stakeholders. • Strong SQL skills across Teradata, Oracle, and/or SQL Server. • Hands-on experience with Tableau, Power BI, BI Publisher, QlikView. • Strong analytical thinking, problem solving and communication skills; ability to tell a data-driven story. Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Economics, or related field. • 5+ years of experience in data analysis / business intelligence or related roles. • Proven experience creating production BI dashboards and reports for business stakeholders. Roles & Responsibilities • Design, build and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau, Power BI, OBIEE and BI Publisher. • Write, optimize and maintain complex queries on Teradata, Oracle and SQL Server. • Perform data modelling, ETL validation, data cleansing and root cause analysis to ensure data quality and integrity. • Translate business needs into technical requirements and dashboard/storytelling that drive decisions. • Collaborate with product, engineering, operations, and stakeholders to prioritize analytics requests and deliver solutions on schedule. • Monitor report performance; implement tuning and best practices to optimize query and dashboard responsiveness. • Document solutions, maintain version control (GitLab) and support release management through ticketing tools (JIRA, TFS, Remedy).
