Role description
The Senior Business Intelligence and Data Analytics Analyst is a senior individual contributor within Global Internal Audit responsible for designing, building, and delivering advanced analytics and AI‑enabled solutions that enhance audit coverage, risk identification, and business insight. Operating with a high degree of independence and judgment, this role translates complex and often ambiguous audit and business questions into scalable, defensible, and actionable analytics. The role partners closely with audit teams and cross‑functional stakeholders to integrate data‑driven insights into audit execution, SOX and operational reviews, and enterprise risk activities. In addition to delivering high‑quality analytics, the analyst influences analytical approach, mentors junior team members, and contributes to standards, reusable assets, and continuous improvement of the audit analytics capability. Key Responsibilities: 10+ year of overall exp is required Design and deliver advanced analytics and AI‑enabled solutions that enhance audit coverage, risk identification, and business insight. Translate complex and ambiguous audit questions into clear, defensible, and actionable analytics aligned to audit objectives. Partner with audit teams and cross‑functional stakeholders to embed data‑driven insights into audit execution, SOX, and operational reviews. Independently scope analytics initiatives, provide level‑of‑effort estimates, and manage delivery against agreed priorities and timelines. Lead day‑to‑day execution of analytics workstreams, including running standups, managing backlogs, and removing blockers using Agile/Scrum practices. Apply strong data governance, privacy, and controls discipline to ensure analytics are accurate, compliant, and audit‑ready. Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks to ensure integrity and traceability from source to output. Develop reusable, well‑documented analytics assets and mentor junior analysts to support consistency and continuous improvement. Contribute to continuous improvement of the audit analytics capability.
