Role description
Classification: Contract Contract Length: 6+ months Location: Nashville, TN (Hybrid) Position Summary We are looking for a strategic and technically adept Power BI Lead to spearhead the development of enterprise-grade dashboards and AI-enhanced analytics. This role supports Agile transformation, DevOps acceleration, quarterly business reviews (QBRs), and talent development initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring leadership in both traditional BI practices and emerging AI-driven insight delivery. Key Responsibilities β€’ Architect, design, and deploy Power BI dashboards focused on Agile, DevOps, and strategic transformation initiatives. β€’ Develop AI-augmented dashboards by integrating machine learning outputs and predictive analytics into executive-level reporting. β€’ Partner with data science teams to incorporate models and surface insights such as Agile maturity predictions, risk scoring, and team health trends. β€’ Promote adoption of intelligent reporting features including what-if analysis, forecasting, anomaly detection, and natural language Q&A. β€’ Maintain consistency in dashboard design, data governance, and semantic modeling across the organization. β€’ Lead and mentor a team of Power BI Engineers, ensuring adherence to development best practices and conducting code reviews. β€’ Collaborate with stakeholders across HR, Finance, Agile Centers of Excellence, and Product teams to define metrics and business logic. Qualifications β€’ 7+ years of experience with Power BI, including 2+ years in a lead or solution architect role. β€’ Proven experience delivering AI-infused dashboards or integrating Azure ML, Python/R, or other AI services into Power BI. β€’ Advanced proficiency in DAX, Power Query, data modeling, and report lifecycle management. β€’ Solid understanding of data science techniques (e.g., regression, classification, clustering) and their application in business intelligence. β€’ Strong ability to engage with executive stakeholders and align reporting with strategic goals. β€’ Exceptional data storytelling skillsβ€”able to translate complex data into actionable insights. β€’ Experience building Agile and DevOps dashboards using JIRA, Azure DevOps (ADO), and GitHub. β€’ Remote role with monthly onsite travel required.
