Senior Business Solutions Analyst Contract to Hire Hybrid - Boston, MA We're working with a well-established organization looking for a Senior Business Solutions Analyst to join a data-driven team on a contract basis, with a clear path to permanent employment. This is an interesting, high-visibility role for someone who enjoys sitting at the intersection of business and data. Someone who can talk to a finance director in the morning and a data engineer in the afternoon. What you'll be doing • Translating business requirements into clear technical user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria • Using SQL to query and validate data across systems • Building and maintaining data mappings and a unified data catalogue in Microsoft Purview • Validating Power BI dashboards against business KPIs • Owning requirements through the full Agile delivery lifecycle (Scrum/Kanban) • Collaborating closely with data engineers, BI developers, and data architects • Supporting UAT and ensuring traceability from story to solution What we're looking for • 5+ years as a Technical BA, Data Analyst, or Business Systems Analyst • Advanced SQL (joins, aggregations, window functions, validation) • Hands-on Microsoft Purview experience, data mapping, lineage, unified catalog • Familiarity with Power BI data models and KPI validation • Proven Agile delivery experience with Jira or Azure DevOps • Strong communicator who can bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders Bonus points for • Azure data ecosystem exposure (Microsoft Fabric, Fabric Data Factory) • Knowledge of data privacy frameworks (GDPR, CCPA) • Python or other scripting for data validation This is a W2 contract-to-hire opportunity.
