Role description
Job Title: Senior Data Analyst (FinTech) Location: Canary Wharf (2 days per week onsite) Rate: £550 per day (Outside IR35) Contract Length: 6 months The Role We’re looking for an experienced Senior Data Analyst to join a fast-moving FinTech team on an initial 6-month contract. You’ll play a key role in turning complex data into clear insights that drive product, risk, and commercial decisions. This is a hybrid role with 2 days per week onsite in Canary Wharf and the rest remote. Key Responsibilities • Analyse large, complex datasets to generate actionable business insights • Build and maintain dashboards and reporting for stakeholders across product, finance, and risk • Work closely with data engineers and product teams to improve data models and pipelines • Design and optimise SQL queries and data transformations • Support experimentation, forecasting, and performance analysis • Communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences Required Skills & Experience • Strong experience as a Senior Data Analyst in a FinTech environment • Advanced SQL skills (complex joins, window functions, optimisation) • Hands-on experience with Amazon Redshift and/or Snowflake • Experience working with large-scale data warehouses and cloud data platforms • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills • Proven ability to translate data into business value Nice to Have • Experience with BI tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI, etc.) • Python or R for analysis • Experience working in fast-paced, product-driven teams Contract Details • Rate: £550/day • IR35: Outside IR35 • Duration: 6 months initial • Location: Hybrid – 2 days per week in Canary Wharf
