Qualifications & Experience Core Experience: 5+ years of data analysis experience in the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance industry. Duck Creek Mastery: Direct, hands-on experience working with data structures across Duck Creek Policy, Duck Creek Claims, and Duck Creek Billing. Clarity Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Duck Creek Clarity architecture, data mapping, out-of-the-box feeds, and schema customization. Technical Skills: Advanced SQL proficiency (window functions, stored procedures, complex joins, and query optimization). Hands-on experience with modern cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, AWS Redshift, or Azure Synapse). Proficiency with BI/visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or Looker). Familiarity with XML/JSON payloads used in Duck Creek integrations. Insurance Domain Knowledge: Solid understanding of core P&C metrics, including written/earned premium, loss ratios, loss development, combined ratio, reserve changes, and billing collection cycles. Communication: Proven ability to present complex technical and analytical concepts clearly to non-technical business leaders and technical engineering teams. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience migrating legacy reporting systems to Duck Creek Clarity. Familiarity with Duck Creek Insights or integration with cloud-native ETL tools (e.g., dbt, Azure Data Factory). Professional certifications in Duck Creek Technologies or insurance data frameworks.
