Job description:
We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst with strong healthcare and pharmacy analytics experience to support data-driven initiatives focused on medication adherence, pharmacy quality, and value-based care performance. This role requires a hands-on analyst who can work with complex healthcare datasets, build meaningful dashboards, and translate analytics into actionable insights for clinical and operational stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
• Analyze and integrate large-scale healthcare datasets including claims, membership, provider, pharmacy, and utilization data
• Write and optimize complex SQL and SAS queries for recurring and ad hoc analytics
• Develop and maintain Tableau dashboards and performance reports for clinical, quality, and operational leadership
• Perform trend analysis and root cause investigations related to medication adherence, pharmacy quality measures, utilization, and care delays
• Identify performance gaps, cost drivers, and improvement opportunities
• Translate analytical findings into clear, executive-ready storytelling
• Support ad hoc analytical projects as business needs arise
• Collaborate with IT and data teams to enhance data integration and reporting workflows
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, CMS, and regulatory reporting requirements
• Support initiatives related to value-based care, quality programs, and accreditation
Required Skills & Qualifications (Must Have)
• 5+ years of strong hands-on experience with SQL and SAS
• 3–4 years of strong experience with Tableau (dashboard development and data storytelling)
• 3–4 years of healthcare analytics experience, with direct exposure to:
• Pharmacy analytics and medication adherence
• Health plan or managed care environments
• Familiarity with pharmacy quality measures and adherence metrics (must have)
• Exposure to value-based care analytics (must have)
• Proven experience working with large, complex healthcare datasets
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight timelines
• Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Bachelor’s degree (required)
Nice-to-Have Skills
• Experience with Python
• Experience with Power BI
