Job Description
We are seeking a Customer & HR Data Analyst to serve as the critical link between raw HR and customer data and business decision-making. This role focuses on data interpretation, business context, and clarity rather than data engineering or dashboard development. The ideal candidate brings strong domain knowledge, hands-on experience with Workday data, and the ability to clearly explain complex data concepts to business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with business and technical stakeholders to translate HR and customer data into actionable insights
Analyze and interpret data from multiple enterprise systems, including:
Workday HR System
Customer Central
Customer Data Warehouse
Toyota Big Data Platform
Validate and review data intake requests for new datasets
Refine and document business definitions, metadata, and data descriptions
Ensure data completeness, accuracy, and readiness for enterprise use
Provide clear explanations of data elements, hierarchies, and relationships across systems
Act as a subject-matter advisor to guide teams on proper data usage and interpretation
Technical Environment
Toyota Big Data Platform (AWS-based, primarily S3 storage)
SQL-based querying tools (DB Visualizer or similar)
Exposure to web services and APIs for data exchange and integration
Required Qualifications
Strong domain expertise in HR and customer data processes
Hands-on experience working with Workday data (no training ramp provided)
Working knowledge of:
SQL and data querying concepts
AWS services (S3 required; ECS/EKS and AWS SDK are a plus)
Ability to independently analyze and interpret enterprise-scale datasets
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
Experience working in large, enterprise data environments
