Position Title: Senior Data Analyst / Manager – Life Sciences / Pharma
Location: Remote (East Coast candidates only; occasional travel may be required)

Pay Rate: $90–$110/hr W2
Position Description
We are seeking a high-performing Senior Data Analyst / Manager to join a dynamic Life Sciences / Pharma analytics team. This role offers the opportunity to lead workstreams, manage junior analysts, and deliver actionable insights that drive commercial and strategic decisions. You will work with cross-functional teams on customer analytics, forecasting, and product performance measurement, leveraging advanced statistical, machine learning, and cloud-based data capabilities. As a key contributor in a consulting-style environment, you will collaborate directly with clients, develop prototypes and dashboards, and translate complex data into clear business recommendations. This is an exciting chance to impact strategy in the pharmaceutical industry while mentoring a talented team of analysts.
Required Skills/Education
Core Technical & Analytical Skills:
• Strong foundation in statistical modeling and machine learning
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python or R
• Experience working with large, complex healthcare or life sciences datasets
• Data visualization and dashboard development (e.g., Power BI)
• Experience with cloud-based data environments
Pharma / Life Sciences Domain Expertise
• Understanding of pharmaceutical commercial models (brand, specialty, rare disease)
• Experience with sales force effectiveness, targeting, and segmentation
• Knowledge of patient journey and claims-based analytics
• Supporting product launch and performance tracking initiatives
• Familiarity with common pharma data assets (claims, NPA, customer, labs, etc.)
AI & Prototyping Capabilities
• Exposure to AI/ML applications in commercial analytics
• Experience with Generative AI use cases
• Ability to rapidly develop prototypes, proof-of-concepts (POCs), and MVP analytics solutions
Consulting & Delivery Skills
• Translate business questions into actionable analytical solutions
• Proposal development and business development experience
• Strong storytelling, executive communication, and presentation skills
• Experience managing workstreams and mentoring junior analysts
• Collaborative, client-facing mindset with structured problem-solving abilities
