Senior Data Analyst - Power BI

Hi Professionals; Position: Senior Data Analyst - Power BI Location: Onsite, Parsippany, New Jersey Employment Type: Full Time Responsibilities: As Data Analyst, you will interpret data and turn it into information that can offer ways to improve a business, thus affecting business decisions. You will gather information from various sources and interpret patterns and trends. Able to import, inspect, clean, transform, validate, collect, process data to stay connected with customers and drive innovation. Skills: Strong experience in Business Intelligence/Analytics initiatives. • Strong understanding of the business requirements. Develop, design, and maintain reports/dashboards. • Demonstrated experience in Excel, T-SQL, ETL, and Power BI platform. • Collect, refine, and prepare data for analytics and visualization. • Manage and utilize the Power BI platform to extract meaningful insights from it. • Collecting data from various data sources and normalize it. Prepare reports using various visualization and data modeling methods. • Test and publish dashboards and reports and schedule refresh. • Drill-down data and prepare reports with utmost accuracy. • Creating wireframes and beta dashboards with a focus on user experience, correctness, and visibility. • Solving any data or performance issues related to workbooks and data sources. • Monitoring reports and dashboards and make necessary changes. • Experience in end user engagement including managing user requirements, Support & Training. • Knowledge of software development life cycle and agile methodologies. • Good communication – Active listener, Be clear and concise
