Role description
Senior Data analyst
We're working with a global talent solutions leader and workforce transformation specialist on this exciting opportunity.
Join a high-impact programme where you will turn complex, disparate datasets into actionable business intelligence. We are looking for a SQL expert who thrives on untangling messy data and building sophisticated Power BI dashboards to drive strategic decision-making across a large-scale enterprise environment.
The Role
• Lead the end-to-end data lifecycle, from acquiring large, complex datasets via APIs, SQL databases, and Data Warehouses to delivering executive-level insights.
• Design, build, and maintain high-performance dashboards and visual reports using Power BI and Tableau to track key programme metrics.
• Architect robust data models and apply advanced transformation techniques (normalization, feature creation) to ensure datasets are analysis-ready.
• Collaborate closely with Technology Partners and Data Engineers to bridge the gap between raw backend data and front-end business requirements.
• Drive data governance excellence by documenting data definitions, transformation rules, and ensuring rigorous data security standards.
What You'll Need
• Advanced proficiency in SQL for complex data querying, manipulation, and integration of structured and unstructured sources.
• Extensive experience building automated reporting suites within Power BI, Tableau, or advanced Excel environments.
• Proven ability to handle "messy" data, performing deep-dive cleaning, validation, and normalization to ensure 100% accuracy.
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate high-level business needs into technical analytical tasks.
• A structured, analytical mindset with a persistence for solving ambiguous data challenges in a fast-paced corporate setting.
What's On Offer
• Long-term 12-month contract with a strong likelihood of further extension.
• Flexible hybrid working model based out of modern offices in Bromley/London.
• The opportunity to work on a high-visibility digital transformation programme with a global industry leader.
