Senior Data Analyst

The Role A client in the retail financial services industry is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join the team for an interim project. You will work closely with pricing and promotions teams to own end‑to‑end analysis of promotional activity and provide insight that shapes commercial decision‑making. You will report into senior commercial managers and support cross‑functional teams with data-driven performance understanding. Responsibilities • Lead analysis and reporting of end‑to‑end promotional activity • Evaluate multiple promotion runs, assessing efficiency, performance and commercial impact • Build and review business cases for upcoming promotional activity • Produce ad‑hoc reports, performance insights, landing‑page and conversion analysis • Support commercial managers while liaising closely with commercial and BI teams • Deliver commercial insight through CRM and customer data • Develop and maintain KPI reporting dashboards (Power BI) • Work with data across multiple platforms including Snowflake, SQL and Excel Requirements • Strong background in data analytics within retail or financial services • Proven experience analysing promotional activity and customer behaviour • Confidence working with Snowflake, SQL (queries), Excel and web/data analytics platforms • Experience building KPI dashboards in Power BI • Comfortable working with mid‑level stakeholders, including commercial directors • Ability to translate data into meaningful commercial insight Details • Start date: Immediate • Duration: 6 Months plus extension • Day rate: £500–£600 • Location: 3 days per week in Bristol
