We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst/Scientist with advanced expertise in Splunk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting complex datasets to provide actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making processes. This role requires a deep understanding of data analytics and proficiency in using Splunk for large-scale data analysis and security solutions.
8+ years of experience, advanced in SPLUNK.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Data Analysis:
β’ Conduct in-depth analysis of structured and unstructured data to extract meaningful insights.
β’ Collaborate with data owners to understand data sources and requirements.
β’ Develop and implement search queries and data models for complex data analysis.
β’ Dashboard and Metrics Report Development:
β’ Design and create interactive and visually appealing dashboards using Splunk.
β’ Develop custom metrics reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
β’ Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into effective visualizations.
β’ Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide analytical support.
β’ Automation and Integration:
β’ Implement automation scripts and workflows to streamline data collection and analysis processes.
β’ Integrate Splunk with other tools and systems to enhance overall functionality.
β’ Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of data analysis processes, methodologies, and findings.
β’ Security and Compliance:
β’ Ensure the Splunk environment adheres to security best practices and compliance standards.
β’ Participate in security incident response activities as needed.
β’ Qualifications:
β’ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
β’ Proven experience as a Splunk Engineer with a focus on data analysis and dashboard development.
